All Cavalier, Carina, Corolla, Calibra, Bluebird and Primera Bangers – 18/08/2018 – King’s Lynn

The Saloon Stock Cars World Championship was the main attraction at Kings Lynn’s Adrian Flux Arena on Saturday 18th August, however, Trackstar’s decision to do a little throwback meeting for the 2l National Bangers, specifically for cars of around 15 years ago before the Mondeo domination kicked in – the cars of choice were the Nissan Bluebird & Primera, Toyota Carina & Corolla and Vauxhall Cavalier & Calibra. This proved to be a popular option with 81 cars gathering in the pits on a sunny afternoon. Plenty of drivers had made the effort with nearly all of the cars being fresh motors. 137 Jay Barrett had one of the meetings’ top cars with a Mk2 Vauxhall Cavalier whilst Mad Hatter pairing 390 David Gibson and 399 Jonny Atkins had a duet of Toyota Carina Estates.
