Overall, the meeting produced the goods expected of it with some absolute stunning efforts by drivers and their crews on the cars and some awesome machinery. There was a good amount of action and some top close racing with a new World Champion crowned – but unfortunately the meeting will likely be overshadowed by events that took place.
