We asked Cameron how he is feeling leading up to the race of the year!
B - Well done for qualifying for the World Final - how do you feel this season has gone for you?
C - Cheers! It’s been good! It was hard work trying to get in to the world though!
B - What meetings stand out as being personal highlights for you throughout the year?
C - Skegness was a cool one in the jag and being with the team and also Ipswich in overys mk2 was a highlight the rest have all been good but them two in proper motors have been the favourites

B - That’s cool! World Final’s are no new thing to you, having taken gold previously, but this will be your first time on the grid of the ‘main’ World Final - what are your thoughts heading into the main race?
C - Absolutely buzzing; this is the one that everyone wants to win and I would love to win it but if I don’t I don’t it’s bangers and anything can happen!
B - Definitely - do you have a game plan heading in to the race itself or is a case of what will be, will be?
C - Yeah just a case of what will be, will be really. Obviously I’ll try and give it a go at winning but no one knows what’s really going to happen.

B - That is the thing - it can be anyone ones race and you stand as good a chance as any! Any plans on what you’re bringing on the day?
C - I’m just taking a Merc as I’m used to them.
B - Sometimes beneficial sticking to what has proved good for yourself! What do you have planned for the rest of the year?
C - Only a few meetings really - Champ of Champs and the good end of year ones!
B - We have the Caged Open at Standlake on December 1st? Do you fancy that?
C - Yeah mate if we have a car ready to go at the time I’ll try to be there!
B - Pukka! You’d certainly be a welcome addition! We always like to know the drivers that inspire our interviewees - is there any drivers that stand out as having your respect or ones you watched growing up that you wanted to emulate?
C - I respect all the drivers out there! I was never really around bangers when I was younger but the one to emulate though would be Overy (617 Jack) for sure - he can get any motor round. I’ve always looked up to my old man too, he’s taught me a lot and wouldn’t be where I was without him today.
B - Got to agree - Jack is one of the best to do it! Anybody you would like to thank in the conclusion of the interview?
C - Would just like to reiterate and say a massive thank you to my Dad for everything he does! I wouldn’t be where I am today with out him and my uncle Lee at LMF Fabrications and a massive thank you to my sponsors for all the help everything is appreciated 👍🏻
